Originating from the Greek word kybernētēs which means "steersman" or "to steer" was created by the mathematician Norbert Wiener where he introduces the concept of cybernetics, using the concept of the feedback one gets from a rudder when a ship is steered. This system became the base for many mechanical productions involving human bodies and eventually became associated with computers and information technology.
